Battlefield 3 Gameplay Trailer

The first Battlefield 3 Gameplay Trailer has been revealed and it showcases the Frostbite 2 engine in all its glory. See the first glimpse of in-game footage from Battlefield 3 as a U.S. Marine squad engages hostile PLR forces in Iraqi Kurdistan. DICE has also announced that the full mission reveal is incoming in the very near future. Stay tuned for more details as they come. GDC is just around the corner and DICE promised major new information during the show. Battlefield 3 was recently announced for the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 and is tentatively scheduled for a Fall 2011 release from DICE & EA. FPSCHEATS.com has promised to have the first ever Battlefield 3 Cheats released for the game.

EA and DICE announced today that those who preorder the newest Battlefield installment will receive a free expansion titled, ‘Battlefield 3: Back to Karkand’. If you watched the first gameplay trailer above that we showed you, you probably caught this announcement at the end but we just now figured out what this pack entails. It includes four classic maps from Battlefield 2, all of them updated to the latest and greatest technology of the Frostbite 2 engine.
